Well, it isn't something from the Romulans or even from Harry Potter, it's Sign in as Invisible. After we integrated Lifestream into AIM, our goal was to add in features that our users have requested and continue to work on improving the user interface.

Welcome to the Mac@AOL Blog. My name is Lee Givens and I'm the Product Lead for the Mac and iPhone products at AOL. You can find the latest information on AOL's software development on the Mac and any cool happenings at AOL. The purpose of the blog is to create a feedback loop so we can hear from our loyal AOL Mac users. Managing a blog is a lot of work, so I enlisted support from the whole team...the Mac team is made up of dedicated Macintosh developers, QA engineers and Product folks.

4. The Buddy List Icons are not loading for me, nor am I able to change my Buddy Icon.

5. Buddy Icons aren't working for me, either. Of more concern is that AIM is constantly signing me off.
Is there any chance that AIM can have access to fonts installed on our computers, or that we will soon be able to adjust (or change!) the volume of the AIM alerts?

7. I have a PC and am about to get my first Mac. On my PC, I have 2 different aol programs with 2 different sets of screen names. I have heard that you can't download aol twice onto a Mac, is that correct? If not, do I just install the program twice as I've done on my PC?

8. AIM is a hazardous app for iPhone when used internationally. On a recent trip to Canada, I had the network setting on my iPhone 3GS set to Data Roaming OFF, to avoid data roaming charges. I was using AIM, under the assumption that it would work via Wi-Fi but would be blocked from the WAP network. Much to my dismay, AT&T posts Megabytes of data roaming charges on my bill (several hundred dollars) and AT&T customer service informs me that the roaming=off setting on the iPhone does not block some apps (i.e. AIM) from accessing the internet, so the meter continues to run wild on the unwary consumer. How can this situation be allowed?
