Attention Safari 4 users!
We have identified an issue for users who have upgraded to Apple's Safari 4.0 browser, which shares the web component with AOL Desktop for Mac. Safari 4 users have reported that images embedded in mail messages are not displaying (see image below), even if you have the preference selected.

Welcome to the Mac@AOL Blog. My name is Lee Givens and I'm the Product Lead for the Mac and iPhone products at AOL. You can find the latest information on AOL's software development on the Mac and any cool happenings at AOL. The purpose of the blog is to create a feedback loop so we can hear from our loyal AOL Mac users. Managing a blog is a lot of work, so I enlisted support from the whole team...the Mac team is made up of dedicated Macintosh developers, QA engineers and Product folks.

104. Me again,
I see that weeks ago I asked you incredible coders to fix the pop-up warnings and AOL dropping off a constantly connected WAN and I see that you guys are living up to your reputation in the coding community as the lamest coders this side of Redmond.
If you need help, please ask, there is a large community of coders here that I'm sure could engineer fixes for all of your problems, except your own lame coders which probable should be let go as soon as you can replace them with some bright 14 year olds.

105. You idiots still haven't snapped to the fact that AOL mail doesn't support HTML clickable links and that's how you send out the confirmation e-mails after a comment is posted.
No wonder Time-Warner is cutting you loose.

107. Please give me a way to stop this reminder from coming up every time I open AOL. It also seems to come up every time after my computer awakes from sleep. It is extremely annoying!! Just fix the problem. It shouldn't take months to do so.

108. I also do not have this problem but keep getting repeated pop-ups regarding "the fix". My settings are set to allow pop-ups because of some of the websites I access, I need to. However, yours is the only pop-up that is a nuisance (nothing personal). I appreciate you guys being on top of this problem. Now please just make the pop-ups of your notice stop! Thx!!
