AIM for Mac - Quick Away Toggle

You're running late for a meeting and you almost forgot to set your Away message for AIM. Just click the "sticky note" icon and AIM for Mac will automatically set your status and away message.
When the Quick Away Toggle is activated, you'll see that the icon changes to the depressed state and your status and away message are automatically set for you. Right next to the Quick Away Toggle is the Invisibility toggle. Why would you want to be invisible? Say you need to focus on a project, you can click the Invisible toggle and you will "appear" offline to all your Buddies, but you can still see what they're up to. Both toggles are right there, under your Buddy Icon.

1. This is amazing. I am so thrilled AOL is back into updating it's messenger for mac. The only thing this needs is Video conferencing. If that it enabled, then this is without doubt one of the best IM clients out there.

2. when im typing on an IM window, the person i'm talking doesn't know if i'm typing or not. i checked my settings and the thing is checked to allow others to see when i'm typing. i noticed this started happening on AIM beta 4.

3. can you please tell me why i have not been able to log in to beta 4 or 5? it keeps telling me there is an unknown error.

4. @Kiara - same here...betas 1, 2, 3 were fine, 4 and 5 do not even try to go to the server to connect for some reason. I turned on little snitch to watch traffic and betas 4 and 5 never try to connect to the server. They say "connecting", then crash after about 20 seconds

5. IT is gr8 to knw tht AOL has introduced this , but just wanted to knw if there is a possibility for adding the fllowing features
- The conversation with a buddy to stay in till i log out [ whenver i open the im window , i wud like to see the last im's before i sign out ]
- Addition of logging the conversations
GUess after all this , it wud b a gr8 feeling to keep using this on MAC
