Welcome to the Mac@AOL Blog. My name is Lee Givens and I'm the Product Lead for the Mac and iPhone products at AOL. You can find the latest information on AOL's software development on the Mac and any cool happenings at AOL. The purpose of the blog is to create a feedback loop so we can hear from our loyal AOL Mac users. Managing a blog is a lot of work, so I enlisted support from the whole team...the Mac team is made up of dedicated Macintosh developers, QA engineers and Product folks.

1. THANK YOU. SERIOUSLY!

It's been hard to keep the news about AIM for Mac quiet for so long, but we're happy to get the most requested application out to our users. As we're building the foundations for all these apps (AIM for Mac is built on AOL Desktop for Mac foundation), you'll see faster updates and more features come to the Mac products. We will continue to listen to our users and strive to make the best AOL apps for the Mac.
thanks...

2. Hm, my friend just told me I'm not really seeing her whole "super" wallpaper. Some work to be done on this thing but I'm so happy we have pretty much the same thing as all our friends now.

Hello James,
Your friend is referring to SuperBuddies...unfortunately, the company that provides the software for the animations hasn't upgraded the Mac version of ViewPoint for almost a decade, so we're working with the AIM providers to see when they'll come up with an update. I will keep you posted on the Mac@AOL blog.
thanks...
