We're on our way to AOL Desktop for Mac 1.5 (currently in beta), the AOL Mac Team has posted a small update to AOL Desktop for Mac (now version 1.2.1). What's fixed in this update? Check out our fixed issues list:
• Fixed Mail Outbox issue where mail is resent from the Outbox on subsequent sign-in sessions.
• Fixed issues reading mail where "Message Content Loading" was observed and the mail content never loaded.
• Fixed Trash folder issue where deleted mail from the Sent folder showed "Sent To" instead of "Send From" in the mail header.
• Added Spell Check button to the Mail Compose window toolbar overflow.
• Changed 'open Spell Check dialog box' keyboard short cut to COMMAND - ; (Command-semi-colon).
Please drop me a comment if this update improves your AOL Desktop for Mac experience. We're going to continue to release updates to AOL Desktop for Mac and bring all-new AOL Mac apps in the near future!
Thanks!

21. A trick to getting AOL 1.2.1 email to respond - send yourself an email from another account and it magically wakes up AOL so that you don't get the message loading constantly. PLEASE AOL GET THIS FIXED. It is almost unusable like this.

22. I went back to 10.3.7 a couple weeks ago. Will try the new desktop version when it's more stable and the address book problem is fixed.

23. Email - Lee, after I delete an email, the next one is highlighted and the bold type reverts to regular type, as if its been already opened. If I sign off and return to email, the one that has not been opened has already gone to old mail. This has caused me to miss emails I wanted to open. I delete the old mail regularly, and it's a major hassle to have to screen the old mail before deleting it.
Also, can you bring back the "Permanently Delete" icon for deleted email so it will disappear immediately, lie it does on Windows AOL? Or better yet, simply make the entire email situation the exact same as it is on Windows? Thanks.
