You're browsing on your Mac (hopefully using AOL Desktop for Mac :), and your buddy sends you an IM to say that last nights Daily Show or Colbert Report was must-see TV, but you forgot to record it on your PVR. Guess what, you can now view the ENTIRE show on AOL Video's Hulu channel. Did I mention it's FREE. Yep, no fees and you can watch a variety of shows from other AOL partners as well.
Stop by today and get caught up on your favorite shows. You can also add the AOL Video button to your toolbar, check out the AOL Toolbar customization instructions for more info (not to mention adding Write Mail, AOL Radio and even TMZ to your toolbar!).
Welcome to the Mac@AOL Blog. My name is Lee Givens and I'm the Product Lead for the Mac and iPhone products at AOL. You can find the latest information on AOL's software development on the Mac and any cool happenings at AOL. The purpose of the blog is to create a feedback loop so we can hear from our loyal AOL Mac users. Managing a blog is a lot of work, so I enlisted support from the whole team...the Mac team is made up of dedicated Macintosh developers, QA engineers and Product folks.

1. Make this into a web-app for the iPhone and it will be the hottest thing ever.
Someone is going to get streaming video on there and when they do, wow! Watch out.

2. I installed Desktop on my new MacBook Pro with Leopard OX 10.5. I absolutely HATE it. It's essential for me to be able to save incoming and outgoing emails in folders by subject. That feature appears to be gone; Save and Save As are grayed out, and Revert to Save is meaningless. The ability to make notes by creating a new text message is gone. I tried to connect to a live chat person for help and I repeatedly got a connection problem. No more help by email. And I am still paying (why?) for premium service. This is a step backwards, not forward.
